A Reunion to Remember

Tuesday, June 30 | 11AM

You’re invited to step back into the city’s golden age.

Join us at the iconic Ellen’s Stardust Diner as we gather to celebrate the legacy of Miss Subways — New York City’s beloved tribute to the extraordinary everyday women who rode the rails, dreamed big, and shaped a city.

Our host for this very special reunion is none other than Ellen Hart, owner of Ellen’s Stardust Diner and Miss Subways 1959 — who will also be celebrating her 85th birthday surrounded by her fellow honorees and the Stardust family she loves.

As the nation marks America’s 250th anniversary, this reunion is more than a celebration — it’s a living piece of history. We’ll welcome back former Miss Subways honorees spanning more than two decades:

Mary Timoney (1953), Kathleen McLean Holmes (1953), Shirley Martin (1960), Dolores Mitchell Byrne (1961), Roz Cinclini Catena (1965), Maureen Walsh Roaldsen (1968), Eileen Ryan Keating (1969), Sonia Dominguez (1974), Josephine Lazzaro O’Halloran (1975), Ayana Scott Lawson (1975), Heide Hafner (1976), Together, they bridge past and present — reminding us that the women who dared to dream in New York City helped write its history.

Come celebrate with us. Come celebrate them.
